Emily is a second-year PhD student in the Horvath lab. Her project is focusing on mitochondrial translational defects and inflammation in muscle cell models.
 

Before coming to Cambridge, Emily completed her BSc in Medical Biosciences at Imperial College London. Her previous research includes investigating a novel allergy immunotherapy drug and studying how the immune system interacts with transposable elements.
